The Carers Centre for Brighton and Hove is the lead partner in Carers Hub:
As you will be aware, we have entered another national lockdown owing to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. In light of this, we have had to suspend our offer of in-person 1:1 support sessions for carers. We will review this as the situation continues to develop. In addition to this, our carers group activities are operating online and our Carers Hub support line remains open.We invite carers to contact us for details on services they can access – 01273 977 000 email@example.com
During this challenging time, we appreciate that many carers will be worried about the health of their family, themselves and about their ability to continue caring. The local authority has issued a statement around their commitment to supporting carers.
We were pleased to see that carers have been added to priority group 6 in the latest guidance from the Joint Committee for Vaccination and Immunisation (see pages 10-11). Our joint communication statement about how we are working with the NHS to plan local implementation is available here.
Scam Warning! Anyone offering a vaccination for a fee is a hoax! See this fraud warning document for more information.
