Carers Week 2021

‘Making Caring Visible and Valued’

Carers Week, 7th-13th June 2021

Carers Week is an annual awareness campaign that celebrates and recognises the vital contribution of the UK’s unpaid carers – supporting family members and friends who are older, have a disability, mental or physical illness or need extra help as they grow older.

Join us at the Carers Centre this Carers Week as we celebrate our local unpaid carer community and all of the great work you do.

Throughout the week we will be bringing you useful carer related information, great workshops, fun activities and our weekly coffee and chat session.

Why not join us for some wellbeing with our Meditation group and Tai Chi and Qi Gong group. Pit your wits against other local carers in our Carers Week Quiz, we are celebrating the first anniversary of our Carers Book Club and the week will culminate with a Carers Surgery with Caroline Lucas, giving you the opportunity to ask questions that are important to you.
